A 1940S CHRISTMAS EVE

Our Christmas Eve presentation this year was called "A 1940s CHRISTMAS EVE." We traveled back in time to the beginnings of the Colerain Presbyterian Church in 1919. Through readings, slides, and videos we explored what life was like in the 1920s and 30s. Then we focused on the war years of the 1940s and the men and women known as the Greatest Generation. With their example of faith and sacrifice we move forward in ministry here at the Colerain Presbyterian Church into the New Year.

COLERAIN COMMUNITY COUNTRY BAND -- QUAKER ACRES SUNDAY

Sit back and enjoy the musical talents and wonderful voices of the Colerain Community Country Band as they lead our service on Quaker Acre Sunday. Band members include Josh Taylor, Michael Iafrate, Ryan Shirley, Carol Lash, and Sarah Taylor. The band led the congregation in some good old gospel favorites and then blessed us with a few beautiful renditions of other familiar hymns. A COMPLETE TURNAROUND

On 9/11 we remember those who died in the terror attack and pray for their families. We also remember those who courageously rescued the victims. May God bless all of them and give us strength to face the future with determination and a commitment to freedom.
